Blaenau Gwent became the first authority using Civica Financials to post their monthly CIS returns via the internet. Civica are pleased to confirm Richard Bridge posted the October returns successfully. The process involves running the normal CIS monthly returns report then a job to send the data to the Inland Revenue web sit. Richard said,
“Prior to implementing the facility the CIS monthly returns would take about 8 hours, now it takes 5 minutes”.

The process produces a postings report which contains the acceptance reference from the Tax Office, this report is electronic and can be stored for future reference with no need for any printing.
